Mista Chatman, a seasoned musician in the global music scene, has had a remarkable journey. Initially known as DJ Collage, he made a name for himself as a Ragga MC in the early 90s, captivating audiences in Chicago, California, Canada, and Europe. Blending his unique Reggae chatting style with genres like House, Hip Hop, Dub, Dancehall, and Bhangra, he left a lasting impression. However, it was his collaboration with Delhi 2 Dublin, a Canadian Bhangra fusion group, in 2010 that marked the beginning of his new persona as MISTA CHATMAN.

Following his transformation, Chatman's passion for music only grew stronger. He continued to perform and collaborate with various bands and DJs in Canada & Seattle, expanding his reach to the east coast where he graced Reggae parties in NYC with his talent. During this time, he joined forces with the renowned NYC Dub collective, SUBATOMIC SOUND SYSTEM, further solidifying his presence in the industry.

In 2019, Chatman decided to shift his focus towards his own musical creations. He embarked on a journey of releasing his own music under his ChatAttak Productions imprint. This marked a significant milestone in his career, allowing him to explore his artistic vision and showcase his unique sound to the world.

Currently, Chatman has established his own RIDDIMBOX AND A MIC soundsystem, where he showcases his DJ skills using modern samplers like the MPC ONE and ROLAND SP404 MK2 instead of traditional turntables. With this unique setup, he entertains audiences with Old School Classic Reggae, Lover's Rock, and Disco Reggae. He has performed with his soundsystem in various locations such as East London, New York, New Jersey, and holds a residency in Seattle known as REGGAE NIGHT!
