They say that the best songs are the ones that come from personal experiences. And since 2016, I've been blessed to experience alot of travel from performances, family visits and getaways. This involved staying in alot of hotels and those experiences inspired the lyrics to Hotel-Motel. The original song was released in April of this year and I happen to pass by the now abandoned Hillside Motel on Aurora Ave in Seattle and immediately a visual came to mind to use the graffiti tagged building as a backdrop for the video. It took several months before I actually went out and filmed, but I got it done and here it is!
